Visiting the website
When you visit this website, our hosting provider stores technically necessary information in server log files, for example IP address, date and time, the page visited, browser and operating system. We need this information to run the website securely and reliably. The log files are deleted after a short time.
Contact form and email
When you write to us via the form or by email, we process your details to answer your enquiry: name, email address, your message and, if you provide them, business, phone number and topic.
To protect against spam, we check form entries automatically, for example with a field that is invisible to people and a short minimum time. We do not store any additional data about you for this.
Cookies and tracking
We set a single, technically necessary cookie: “aroud-locale” stores your language choice for one year so the website greets you in your language.
We use no analytics or advertising tools and no tracking. The font is stored on our own server; no data is sent to Google or other font providers when the website loads.
Sharing with service providers
We only share personal data with service providers we need to run this website, and only as far as necessary:
- Hosting provider, which stores the website and the server log files.
- Email service provider, which delivers form enquiries to our inbox.
Transfers abroad
Our service providers may also process data outside Switzerland, for example in the EU or the USA. We only disclose data to countries without adequate data protection if appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses recognised by the FDPIC, or certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiries as long as we need them to process them and for any collaboration, and after that only as far as legal retention obligations require.
Data security
The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
Your rights
You can request the following at any time:
- Information about which data we process about you
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion or restriction of processing
- Release or transfer of your data
- Objection to processing
Contact and complaints
Write to us at info@aroud.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch). In the EU, you can contact the supervisory authority in your country.
Changes
We update this privacy policy when the website or the law changes. The version published here applies.
